MaltaPost p.l.c. informs the general public that a number of letters in letterbox number 278, situated in Triq il-Lunzjata, corner with Triq Il Kbira San Guzepp, Hamrun, have been damaged by fire.

The last collection from this letter box was effected on Monday 28th March 2011 at 19:31. MaltaPost officials became aware of the incident on Tuesday 29th March 2011 at around 12:00 hrs.

Service to this letterbox has resumed as normal.

Whilst ensuring that all mail including that damaged, will be duly delivered, MaltaPost apologizes for the inconvenience caused.
