MaltaPost delivers joy this festive season with its exciting Christmas activities

MaltaPost enhances the Christmas experience for children and those young at heart with letters from Santa and a festive hut in Valletta.

Model building and junior beauty kits, a baby brother and ‘a life full of love' are amongst the numerous requests that MaltaPost's Santa Claus is receiving from Maltese children this year.

Maltese families are invited to fill in a letter application and will in turn receive a personalised letter from Santa Claus himself together with a matching envelope and Santa's personalised stamp.

To sensitise children that Christmas is not just about receiving presents but also a time for giving to those in need, a part of the application fee for the letter from Santa Claus will be donated to Inspire. As part of its continuous Corporate Social Responsibility, MaltaPost will then double the amount collected and donate it to this foundation.

MaltaPost will also be present in the heart of Valletta, precisely in front of the law courts with a special Santa Post Office. This Post Office, which takes the form of a wooden, alpine log cabin will be present between 7 and 24 December and families are invited to enter and take a photo with Santa Claus. The photo will be printed instantly and given to visitors to take home.

Together with this, specific Post Offices in Birkirkara, Mosta, Paola and San Gwann will be opened for extended hours and the Malta Philatelic Bureau has issued a special Christmas stamp issue featuring Albrecht Durer's series "Life of the Virgin", which he produced using a special woodcut technique.
