On 18th March 2020, MaltaPost will issue the fourth series of stamps depicting religious statues. This time round the issue will feature statues of St. Joseph found in various churches around Malta and Gozo and will include the 5 titular statues found in: Birkirkara St. Joseph the Worker Parish Church; Kalkara Parish Church; Manikata Parish Church; Msida Parish Church; Qala Parish Church, Gozo. Furthermore besides other statues as mentioned here, will also be included in this issue; Rabat Church of the Blessed Virgin - Principal Feast; Xagħra Basilica; Gozo - Co-Patron; Birgu Collegiate Church - Confraternity; Birkirkara Basilica of St. Helen - Confraternity; Cospicua Collegiate Church - Confraternity; Għajnsielem Parish Church; Gozo; Secondary Feast; Għaxaq Parish Church - Secondary Feast; Ħamrun; St. Cajetan Parish Church; Kirkop Parish Church - Secondary Feast; Mosta Basilica - Confraternity; Qormi St. George Collegiate Church - Confraternity; Valletta Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel - Confraternity; Żebbuġ Parish Church - Secondary Feast; Żejtun Parish Church - Confraternity; Żurrieq Parish Church - Confraternity.
The stamps will be issued in two sheets of 10 stamps each, with each stamp measuring 31mm x 44mm, with a comb perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 and bearing the Maltese Cross watermark. The sheets measure 182mm x 115mm and were produced by Printex Ltd in the offset process. The issue consists of 1,600,000 stamps and carry a face value of €0.30 each. The stamps will be available as from Wednesday 18th March 2020 from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo.
