On the 2nd of October 2019, MaltaPost will issue a miniature sheet bearing 4 stamps to celebrate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This set of stamps highlights the life and times of this extraordinary man.
The stamps will be issued in miniature sheet, with each stamp measuring 35 mm x 35mm, with a comb perforation of 13.75 x 13.75 and bearing the Maltese Cross watermark. The sheets measure 120 mm x 80 mm and were produced by Printex Ltd in the offset process. The issue consists of 16,000 miniature sheet and each sheet bears a value of €2.36.
This philatelic issue will be available from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo as from Wednesday 2 October 2019. Orders may be placed online at
