On 14th August 2019, MaltaPost will issue the third series of stamps depicting titular statues found in various churches around Malta and Gozo. This issue will feature the following processional statues: St. Publius in Floriana, St. Philip in Żebbuġ, St. Catherine in Żejtun, St. John the Baptist in Xewkija, St. Andrew in Luqa, the Annunciation of Our Lady in Balzan, St. Venera in Santa Venera, Our Lady of Pompei in Marsaxlokk, St. Lawrence in Birgu and Our Lady of Grace in Żabbar.
The stamps will be issued in a sheet of ten, with each stamp measuring 31mm x 44mm, with a comb perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 and bearing the Maltese Cross watermark. The sheets measure 182mm x 115mm and were produced by Printex Ltd in the offset process. The issue consists of 900,000 stamps and carry a face value of €0.28 each. The stamps will be available as from Wednesday 14 August 2019 from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo.
