On the 4th of May 2019, MaltaPost will issue a set of 2 stamps featuring logos of the Council of Europe to commemorate the 70th Anniversary from its foundation.

The stamps will be issued in a sheet of 10 stamps, with each stamp measuring 44mm x 31mm, with a comb perforation of 14.0 x 13.9 and bearing the Maltese Cross watermark. The sheets measure 185mm x 115mm and were produced by Printex Ltd in the offset process. The issue consists of 80,000 of the €0.63 stamp and 60,000 of the €2.00 stamp. The Design was set by the Council of Europe.

This philatelic issue will be available from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo as from Saturday 4th May 2019.
