On 18 November 2016, MaltaPost will be issuing the 2016 Christmas set. This issue consists of three stamps designed by the Maltese artist Joseph Pulo who was born in Għaxaq in 1947 and studied at the Malta Government School of Art, where he was taught by some of the leading artist of the time.
The stamps carry a face-value of €0.26, €0.59, and €0.63. This issue consists of 970,000 of the €0.26 stamp, 300,000 of the €0.53 and 90,000 of the €0.63 stamp. The stamp measures 30.5mm by 41mm with a perforation of 13.7 x 13.8 (comb.) and bears the Maltese Crosses watermark, while the sheet measures 177mm by 107mm.
