Every year, the Capital City Valletta comes to life during Notte Bianca. This year, this event will take place next Saturday 1 October. The Malta Postal Museum will be open during this year's Notte Bianca, promising the public an enjoyable experience while exploring the history of the Post in Malta. This new heritage attraction is housed in a restored townhouse at 135, Archbishop Street, Valletta and includes items of postal history within a display of documents and artefacts.
Additionally, during Notte Bianca, the Malta Postal Museum will feature an exhibition of photographic entries from ‘The Post in Pictures' photographic competition.
An occasion card commemorating the participation of MaltaPost in the Notte Bianca 2016 will be issued on 1 October and will be available for sale from the Malta Postal Museum during Notte Bianca. Following 1 October, the card will then be available for sale from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo, online at www.maltaphilately.com or by mail from the Philatelic Bureau, MaltaPost p.l.c. 305, Qormi Road, Marsa, MTP 1001.
The Malta Postal Museum will be participating in Science in the City on Friday 30 September and will be open for the public from 18.00 till midnight.
