On 20 August, MaltaPost will issue a miniature sheet in a joint issue with Curaçao featuring 'Harbours' as a common theme between the two Islands. Malta and Curaçao are small islands of which harbours characterise the landscape of each country as through time, both had to defend themselves from those who sought to conquer their islands. The Schottegat Harbour is the motif of Curacao's miniature sheet whilst the Grand Harbour is depicted on the Maltese miniature sheet.
The Malta issue is limited to 20,000 numbered sheets bearing face value of €4.51. The miniature sheet measures 120mm x 80mm, while the stamp measures 41mm x 30.5mm. The stamp has a perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 (comb.) bearing the Maltese Crosses watermark and will be available in a miniature sheet.
