On 20 May 2013, MaltaPost will issue a set of three stamps depicting cruise liners that have visited the Valletta Cruise Port in previous years.

Malta has been chosen as the destination for the 6th edition of the European Maritime Day conference organised on the 21st to the 22nd of May. It is therefore fitting to celebrate this occasion with a set of three commemorative stamps depicting cruise liners that have visited the Maltese shores. The stamps have a face value of €0.26, €0.51, €0.97 depicting cruise liners Riviera, Costa Deliziosa and MS Ryndam respectively.

The Set "European Maritime Day - 2013" was designed by MaltaPost p.l.c and will be issued in sheets of 10 stamps. Each stamp measures 44mm x 31mm with perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 (comb.) bearing the Maltese Crosses watermark. Printex Ltd will print 25,000 of each denomination.
