On 27 March, MaltaPost will issue a set of three stamps depicting some of the Island's historic fountains. The stamps have a face value of €0.06, €0.32 and €2.62 and depict the Vilhena Fountain, Triton Fountain, and Spinola Fountain, respectively.
The Set "Treasures of Malta Series - Fountains" was designed by Cedric Galea Pirotta and will be issued in sheets of 10 stamps. Each stamp measures 44 mm x 31mm, has a perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 (comb.) bearing the Maltese Crosses watermark. Printex Ltd will print 100,000 of the €0.06 stamp, 200,000 of the €0.32 stamp and 30,000 of the €2.62 stamp.
The stamps will be available as from Wednesday 27 March 2013 from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo.
