On 31st October, MaltaPost will issue the Christmas 2012 stamp set which consists of three stamps depicting Old Master paintings representing The Holy Family. The stamps have a face value of €0.20, €0.37 and €0.63 reproducing the paintings: "The Adoration of the Magi by a German follower of Peter Paul Rubens", "The Holy Family, by the Circle of Denys Calvaert (Antwerp 1540 - Bologna 1619)", "Holy Family by the Dutch School" respectively.
The Set, titled "Christmas 2012" was designed in-house by MaltaPost and will be issued in sheets of 10 stamps. Each stamp measures 44.0mm x 31.0mm, has a perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 (comb.) bearing the Maltese Cross watermark. Printex Ltd will print 2,700,000 of the €0.20 stamp, 550,000 of the €0.37 stamps and 150,000 of the €0.63 stamp.
