The Philatelic Bureau of MaltaPost p.l.c. will be issuing a philatelic commemorative set of three stamps titled 'Christmas 2011' on the 15th November 2011. This year's Christmas set reproduces Old Master paintings representing The Holy Family.

The philatelic stamps which values €0.20, €0.37 and €0.63 reproduce the paintings: "The Holy Family inand "The Rest on the Flight an interior", "The Madonna and Child with Infant Saint John the Baptist" into Egypt"

An amount of 1,800,000 stamps carry a face value of €0.20, 400,000 stamps carry a face value €0.37 and an amount of 120,000 carry a face value of €0.63. The stamps were designed in-house by MaltaPost.

The size of the stamps is 44.0mm x 31.0mm with a perforation of 13.9 x 14.0 (comb). All stamps have been offset printed on Maltese Crosses watermarked paper by Printex Limited and are available in sheets of 10.

The 'Christmas 2011 'philatelic commemorative set will be available as from Tuesday 15th November 2011 at all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo, from the Mobile Post Office and from the Philatelic Bureau.
