MaltaPost Supports the Ukrainian People

MaltaPost plc offers its support to Ukraine, the Ukrainian people and the designated postal operator of Ukraine, "Ukrposhta" who are facing extremely difficult conditions due to the current Russian aggression.

A special project has been launched to support the economy of Ukraine, titled "Made with Bravery". This is a new online marketplace (https://shop.brave.ua) selling quality Ukrainian-made goods allowing shoppers from all over the world to buy branded items (clothes, shoes, accessories, household goods and much more) and to directly maintain the Ukrainian economy stable. Such online trade contributes to protect the country's earnings, jobs and businesses and helps the eventual rebuilding of the Ukrainian Republic.

MaltaPost fully supports this initiative by communicating and sharing information with Maltese shoppers to allow for increased parcel flow from Ukraine and the development of postal exchanges between the two countries. According to the World Bank, without such postal and economic support, 55% of the Ukrainian population can fall below the poverty line by the end of 2023.
