Business Applications Support Specialist

Join us as a Business Applications Support Specialist, focusing on Applications Support and the implementation of new systems within MaltaPost plc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues on critical applications to ensure business continuity and escalate to the second level of support when required.
  • Ensure that application related issues reported on the company's ticketing system are resolved in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Identify common issues, analyse the root cause and liaise with the projects team to prevent them from recurring.
  • Participate in projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain system integrity and optimize performance.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Specialisation in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in IT applications support and projects implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Local residence and driving license.
