Within your email, it is important to include the weight and dimensions as well as a short description of your item.
If you are shopping from an online seller in the UK, who does not ship to Malta, our SendOn service offers you an address in this country.
SendOn offers 2 shipping options:
- Priority Shipping for items weighing up to 30Kg. These items are normally expected to arrive in Malta or Gozo in around 10 to 14 working days from the day the item is delivered to our hub in the UK.
- Standard Shipping for items weighing up to 300Kg. These items are normally expected to arrive in Malta or Gozo in around 15 to 20 working days from the day your item is delivered to our hub in the UK.
Please be advised that as a consequence of Brexit, your items are now subject to Customs Controls prior to leaving the UK and upon arrival in Malta, potentially causing further delays. In addition, in view of the measures taken to contain the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic and the resulting reduction in air transport connectivity, the service levels indicated above may be exceeded due to the force majeure circumstances.
ATTENTION
If items are delivered on a pallet from the supplier to the SendOn Hub, separate pricing will apply. Prior to ordering items, kindly ask the supplier to confirm whether item will be despatched on a pallet, and if so, supplier is to confirm pallet measurements. Kindly then send an email to info@maltapost.com for us to provide you with a separate quote. Please upload your commercial invoice in the SendOn portal when asked for the declaration. Items exceeding permissible weight and size
The maximum weight and dimensions of a package that can be shipped through the SendOn Standard service from the UK is 300Kg and 120cm (L) X 80cm (W) x 250cm (H) (packaging included). The maximum weight and dimensions can be shipped through SendOn with the Priority Shipping service from the UK is 30Kg and 150cm (L) x 100cm (W) x100cm (H) (packaging included).

Delivery to your door
The rates quoted for the SendOn service include delivery to an address located at street level in Malta and Gozo provided that the items weigh less than 30Kg, or are of a volumetric weight of or under 0.18m3, like for example 72cmx50cmx50cm. A charge of €30 will apply for delivery of items weighing between 30Kg and 300Kg. The charge of €30 includes delivery of the item to street level only.

A separate quote will be issued for the delivery of:
- Heavy items weighing more than 300Kg.
- Bulky items (e.g. furniture or machinery) which requires the use of an elevator service.

Prohibited items
There are items that are prohibited by international regulations which we cannot transport to Malta. There are items (dangerous goods) which require documentation in order to be transported to Malta and these may include lithium batteries (even inside a device) and aerosols. The list of dangerous goods may vary from one hub to another. Therefore, we encourage you to check out the prohibited items list according to the hub you will be using. The service is regulated by these Terms and Conditions. Upon submitting the registration form and using the service, you will automatically accept to adhere to these terms and conditions.
Customs and VAT
There are some steps to follow when shipping from UK online stores. When your item arrives at our hub in the UK, it is important that you declare the contents of this item for us to be able to ship it to Malta.
