Closure of Parcel Office

MaltaPost p.l.c. informs the general public that, by agreement with the Malta Communications Authority, in view of the new VAT and customs eCommerce rules that are coming into force from 1st July 2021, the manual customs clearance process will shift towards a fully digital integrated declaration process.

Consequently as from 1st July 2021 customers will no longer be able to provide invoices,pay for customs charges and related processing fees and collect the parcels from the Parcel Office at the MaltaPost Head Office in Marsa.

MaltaPost p.l.c. tinforma lill-pubbliku li bi qbil mal-Awtorita' Maltija tal-Komunikazzjoni, fis-seħħ ta' regolamenti ġodda tal-VAT u tad-dwana dwar il-Kummerċ elettroniku li se jidħlu fis-seħħ mill-1 ta' Lulju 2021, il-proċess ta' rilaxx ta' pakketti se jinbidel fi proċess ta' dikjarazzjoni integrata li se tkun kompletament diġitali.

Għaldaqstant mill-1 ta' Lulju 2021 il-klijenti mhux se jkunu jistgħu jipprovdu invoices, jħallsu d-dazju u l-ħlas relatat tal-ipproċessar u jigbru il-pakketti mill-Parcel Office tal-MaltaPost li jinsab fil-Head Office il-Marsa.
