On 28th May 2021 MaltaPost will be participating in a forthcoming philatelic stamp issue by the Small European Postal Administration Cooperation (SEPAC), themed ‘Historical Maps'.
The Malta issue features a set of four stamps reproducing historical maps of the Maltese Islands by different cartographers.
The stamps are printed in sheets of 10 stamps, with each stamp measuring 42mm x 31mm, with a comb perforation of 13.8 x 13.7 and bearing the Maltese Cross watermark. The sheets measure 107mm x 177.5mm and were produced by Printex Ltd in the offset process. The issue consists of 80,000 of the €0.20 stamp, 70,000 of the €0.50 stamp, 20,000 of the €0.63 stamp and 40,000 of the €1.25 stamp. The design was set by MaltaPost and images were provided by the Malta Map Society.
This philatelic issue will be available from all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo as from Friday 28th May 2021. Nhar il-Ġimgħa 28 ta' Mejju 2021 MaltaPost se tipparteċipa fil-ħarġa ta' bolli SEPAC (Small European Postal Administration Cooperation) bit-tema ‘Historical Maps'.
F'din il-ħarġa ta' SEPAC, MaltaPost ħarġet erba' bolli li juru mapep storiċi tal-Gżejjer Maltin minn erba' kartografi Ewropej.
Is-sett se jinħareġ f'folji t'għaxar bolli. Kull bolla hija ta' daqs 42mm x 31mm, b'perforazzjoni ta' 13.8 x 13.7 (comb.) u l-folja hija ta' daqs 107mm x 177.5mm. Il-bolli ġew stampati b'watermark tas-Salib ta' Malta u Printex Limited ipproduċa dan is-sett b'metodu offset. Il-Ħarġa tikkonsisti f'80,000 bolla tal- €0.20, f'70,000 bolla tal- €0.50, f'20,000 bolla tat- €0.63 u 40,000 bolla tal- €1.25. Dan is-sett ġie ddisinjat mill-MaltaPost fuq stampi provduti mill- Malta Map Society.
